The Exeed VX crossovers, manufactured at the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Russia, have begun to be delivered to Russian Exeed dealers, according to Konstantin Galagan, Director of Exeed Center Avilon Legenda. "Yes, the first batch of Exeed VX cars has already arrived at our showroom," he commented. The vehicles have been approved for type by the Russian company Chery, for two models: the Exeed VX and Exeed TXL. The Russian production site specified in the documents is LLC MB Rus Manufacturing. Mercedes-Benz cars were previously produced here.
The Exeed VX is available for a starting price of 6,500,000 rubles. The crossover has recently been updated, and one of the key technical updates is the addition of a classic 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The model is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (249 hp - RG note) and an improved sixth-generation BorgWarner electro-hydraulic full-drive system, which includes 7 driving modes. The Exeed VX also features a range of online and telematics services with numerous functions.
