A 34-year-old BMW driver in Crimea has been fined for performing dangerous stunts on a public road. The incident, which took place in Yevpatoria, was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media. The footage shows the driver executing a drift maneuver at a regulated intersection, spinning the car's rear wheels while failing to use turn signals. Adding to the recklessness, a passenger was seen leaning out of the window during the stunt.
According to local authorities, the driver was charged under two articles of the Administrative Code: Article 12.14 (failure to comply with traffic regulations) and Article 12.6 (violation of passenger safety rules). As a result, he was fined a total of 2,000 rubles. The police emphasized that such behavior not only endangers the driver and passengers but also poses a significant risk to other road users.
The incident has sparked discussions online about road safety and the consequences of reckless driving. Many social media users criticized the driver for prioritizing "showing off" over safety, while others called for stricter penalties for such violations.
